OPERATING SCENARIO

High-airflow, humid fermentation exhaust

Ducted discharge treatment · Biopharmaceuticals

Reference airflow
100,000–140,000 m³/h
Characteristics
Near-ambient exhaust with near-saturated humidity and low VOC concentrations but noticeable odors; batch operation changes the load.
Existing issues
Humidity can reduce adsorption life and stability. Additional equipment alone does not address catalyst moisture or condensation.
Engineering challenges
Control humidity, pressure drop, ozone dosing and energy at large airflows; interlock operation with fan status.
Treatment route
Central capture → Dry filtration → Heating and dehumidification → RAO ozone catalytic oxidation → Variable-speed fan → Stack
Engineering notes
Commission ozone dosing gradually using inlet loads, outlet measurements and residual ozone. Avoid relying on constant full-load dosing.
