OPERATING SCENARIO

Low-load, multi-line plastics processing

Workshop / source capture · Plastics processing

Reference airflow
Approximately 800–1,200 m³/h per unit
Characteristics
PP, PE and ABS extrusion and pelletizing generate VOCs, oil mist, particles and additive odors, with frequent line starts and stops.
Existing issues
Central systems maintain large airflows even at low utilization, while activated carbon is exposed to oil mist and variable loads.
Engineering challenges
Coordinate movable units, flexible capture points, production interlocks and reuse of the existing central exhaust system.
Treatment route
Flexible source capture → Two-stage local JETA treatment → Mist removal → Corrosion-resistant variable-speed fan → Existing clean-exhaust header
Engineering notes
Retain the central system as backup or supplementary treatment. For poorly absorbed ABS-related compounds, configure downstream adsorption based on validation.
